I have just heard back from my friend Farah to say she will do the make-up for me at the shoot. She is currently training in London for 2 years to be a hair and make-up artist for fashion and film. I am relieved she has agreed to do it as she is a friend so i will feel more confident putting my ideas across to her - this is something i struggle to do with people i do not know, especially when they are professionals in their fields as i feel like i am telling them what to do!! For the previous shoot i did last year i deicded to take all my own photographs, perhaps for this reason as i knew clearly the look i wanted and worried that someone else would not understand what i want to achieve or will go off and do their own thing!
This is something i am keen to work on as presenting and communicating my ideas clearly is a skill i must have for presenting on the course infront of my peers and later in life. By asking Charlie to take the photos - someone i do not know - i am hoping to develop this.
Inital ideas for make-up: big eyelashes, individual ones on the bottom for a 60's look, seductive smokey eyes, nude lips...
