I have tried to capture The Girls main influences by making 3 collages which can be seen above: gothic/edgy, 80's/bright/kitsch, romantic/ultra feminine. These will be my inspiration and starting points for my jewellery and research.
Inital thoughts: each piece of jewellery could reflect a different side of the girls or a combination of all their influences? The main thing i want to develop throughout my sketchbook is a print for the paper jewellery as i think this will be the most successful way of getting across their influences, and will give the pieces a unique edge. In want to initally look at pop artists as their work is typically bold and over the top.
